A symptom, cervical cancer related, to HPV would be a vaginal wart. You can ask your Gynecologist, or a Urologist about being tested. It is not uncommon for a Pap exam to be inconclusive, so a Digene Hybrid Capture HPV DNA test is the best way to test for signs of HPV. The higher risk grades of dysplasia are the ones to be concerned with, as they are more aggressive. HPV is the only proven cause of dysplasia of the cervix. Typical signs are dysplastic cells of the cervix, and are commonly diagnosed through a pap exam. A symptom, cervical cancer related, to HPV would be a vaginal wart.
