There is no medically approved cure for cervical cancer, lichen sclerosus, or the common wart, however a vaccine is on the verge of being approved. In more advanced disease removal of the uterus is performed, with or without ovaries. The disease can be treated by surgical removing or destroying the pre-cancerous or cancerous tissue without removing the uterus so that a woman is capable of having children.
