Cervical Cancer Stage 3

Cervical Cancer Stage 3

Cervical cancer stage 3 would not be suprising in a woman with a history of cervical cancer, or other hpv types, such as vaginosis, in her family. In this period the tumor spreads to the lower third of the vagina or onto the pelvic wall and may be blocking the flow of urine from the kidneys to the bladder. The FIGO system classifies this condition into four basic periods, labeled 0 through 4. Cervical cancer stage 3 would not be suprising in a woman with a history of cervical cancer, or other hpv types, such as vaginosis, in her family.

These methods determine the tumorís size, depth of penetration, and spread within or beyond the cervix. This condition is determined by information that is obtained through: biopsy and the pathology reports, cystoscopy, abdominal ultrasound, computer tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. The lower the staging, the better the personís prognosis.
