Cervical Cancer Sign

A cervical cancer sign or symptom is if the human papillomavirus is detected from a biopsy from the vulvar area. This type of infection could lead to a diagnosis of HPV. It causes inflammation of the cervix, with itching, irritation and redness of the labia. A physical symptom that can occur from HPV infection is Bacterial Vaginitis, which often times is misdiagnosed as chronic yeast infections. This is why we have annual pap exams, as to detect any abnormal cell growth, or infections caused by the HPV virus. There are no visible symptoms that you have dysplasia of the cervix, without a Pap smear or pap exam.
